When can I expect to see my dominoes after I order?

We place your dominoes on the engraving schedule for the next day after the order is received and allow the paint to dry overnight. Your dominoes are in the mail after 1 business day.
Example: orders placed on Monday will be mailed on Wednesday

What are the different sizes and how large are the dominoes?

Mini - the smallest, about 1/2" x 1" and less than 1/4" thick
Small - smaller than standard sized, less than 1" x 2" in size or thin.
Professional - just over 1" x 2" and about 1/3" thick. Slightly larger than standard sized.
Jumbo/Tournament - about 1.1 " x 2.2 " x 3/8" thick.

What type of box do they come in?

The double 6 dominoes will come in a cardboard game box shown here unless the domino set is labeled with another box in the product description. Only the bottom is imprinted so it will have a nice clean look on your game shelf.

Can I get different colored dots than in the picture?

We purchase our dominoes with the dots already on them so we cannot change the colors of the dots.

Can I get the engraving in multiple colors on one side of the domino?

This depends entirely upon the graphic or wording so tell us what you want to do and we will let you know. There needs to be enough space between colors or the hand painting process will result in bleeding or color overflow.

Can I get a graphic or clipart on my dominos?

Sure you can. Simply e-mail us with what you are looking for and we will send you some of the clipart in that category. There is so much clipart that we couldn't possibly fit it all on the site.

I see the picture at the top of the page has the name on an angle - can I get my name straight?

Sure you can, all you need to do is let us know. There is a notes section at the checkout page you can write us a note there, e-mail us, or call us. If you do not specify we will fit your personalization to utilize the most space possible on the domino. For shorter names or initials it would straight up and down and for longer names a corner to corner layout gives a larger engraving.

Does it cost extra to choose a graphic instead of a name? How do I order it?

There is no additional charge for graphics verses a name, when ordering simply put the graphic name into the name box and pick the fill color. Make sure that you put it in the corresponding name spot - front or back, and that you have selected that side to be engraved in the drop-down box.

What if I choose Engraving on Fronts only but fill in the Engraving information for the backs?

If you choose Engraving on the Fronts only, the information for the front engraving is all that will be looked at by us. If you choose a color or enter any name into the Backs section, it will appear on the order form but will not be engraved or appear on your dominoes when they arrive.

If I send you a picture, can you engrave it?

We sure can try. Send it to us.
The best pictures are those that are clipart style and one color since two colors next to each other will just bleed together.
Flags - because of the multiple colors, most flags do not work well with our engraving and painting process
Photos - we have a process to convert a photo to an engravable 1 color image, high contrast photos work best and a proof will be sent for your approval before engraving to make sure you know how your dominoes will look first.
Company logos - We can engrave logos if they are 1 color and you have permission to replicate the logo. We may require a letter stating you have permission and we reserve the right to refuse to replicate any logo we feel might be in question of a copyright violation.
Fraternity, College, University- Fraternities and Universities are businesses and therefore are treated the same as company logos and require a permission letter from the logo owner. In addition, some have a licensing fee which if acceptable to the customer will be added to the order total.
Professional Teams - There are licensing requirements for all of the professional teams, we DO NOT engrave any NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, or any other professional league logos unless requested from the headquarters of the league.
Famous Characters - These are also licenced and we DO NOT engrave them. These include any well known cartoon or movie characters or names.

What fonts are available?

We have: Block, Script, Domino Font, Old English and comic Sans. Your inscription will be sized to best fit the domino and broken into multiple lines if best suited.

What is your Return or Exchange Policy?

We acknowledge that mistakes do happen and we have been known to make a typo in spelling of names. If there is an error in the engraving of the domino because WE (EngravedDominoes.com) mis-spelled or mis-read your order, we will promptly correct and replace your set right away and the following will not apply.

* Item(s) may be returned within 45 days of delivery date
* All items will need a Return Authorization Number (Call or email us to receive one)
* Item(s) must be unused and in original condition (that means all packaging, warranty cards, manuals, documentation and all accessories must be returned as well)
* Unless the return is due to an EngravedDominoes.com shipping error, the customer (that's you) is responsible for the cost of return shipping charges, including freight charges on large or heavy items
* Shipping charges must be prepaid on all returned shipments and we recommend that you insure all returned packages for your protection - EngravedDominoes.com is not responsible for return shipments that are lost, pilfered, or damaged
* Once each item is inspected we will issue a refund, exchange or credit for the value of the item, including taxes, less applicable restocking fees
* Shipping fees are non-refundable
